I really don't care if this keeps popping up in the top viewed every other month (Think Picard Song got all those views without massive off-site linking campaigns?), but my main gripe is that it's a little too generic and straightforward for the purposes of YTMND. I get the feeling that when people linked the Picard Song, they said "Hey, check out this YTMND!", but when they link this, they say "Hey, check out this crazy breakup letter!"
