Yes, it is quite an unnerving site, assuming that something may happen. Be sure to raise the awareness and tell all of your friends and show them this. It's pretty unknown to the net at the moment, but I know YTMND has the power to change that. This website is generally only appearing in forums on google right now.
I was considering crying out "Viral Advertisement!" like Koompa said, but the thing about that is, if that was the case, we would have heard of this much earlier. Not 2 days before whatever the event is. I'm not ruling out the possibility of a stupid corporate marketing strategy. But I will say this; I enjoy my peaceful days, as any sane human being should, and I don't hope for this to be some horrendous massive netattack.
Tell everyone. Show all of your friends and everyone you know this YTMND. If we put our heads together, someone is bound to break through and find out something.
Also, I have edited a part where I labeled the codes on the forum as Hexidecimal. It was 1am and I did not notice that G and H were in the code, clearly not Hex. However, the codes on the deployment tracker are hexidecimal.
It's all crap, if it was some hacking thing, it would be a lot less conspicuous, like some random private forum or something. It's all designed and it's an advertizement. Hackers are too lazy to do anything like this. Some company just created a site and did whatever they could think of to make it look suspicious and official.
I'm not sure why you say I'm paranoid. I've stated that it could be anything. My personal thoughts are that it is either a hoax/ad campaign like most of you say, or some virus attack. I most certainly am not taking this seriously enough to think that this is is something that needs a swat team to bust into the hosting companies buildings and unload 4 rounds into the server computer. I just thought it was something interesting and created a YTMND to show the many facets of issue. Nobody likes downvoters.
But being paranoid is fun. I'd love to see where this goes, and I cross my fingers hoping it's something exciting. Considering "launch locations" it's not just a show or game. probably a store chain or.. something. anyway, i'd like to bring attention to the hidden lines of extra text at the foot of the homepage. if you press ctrl+A, you'll see it.

have used only one global clock." It is counting down to a exact time in your region. But basically it could be they are lazy or its a cascading effect per timezone.
A joke going off Vash's YTMND, Ebaums must be using planning an attack. All of the dots represent major YTMND user locations. The government links are on the referral list because Eric's legal team contacted them and bribed them to let it go down, involving the exchange of links to the site which got it added.
So far the clock has been constant for me. It will only change if you mess with your computers clock. If you want an accurate 'launch' time for your region, set your clock to the correct time. I believe though, that since the server is based in Texas, it might also be a good idea to have your time set to GMT - 6. We will see what happens on July 1.
Yeah its definately tracking, not random, I went on and it put a mark where I live, lets get some Russian people to get on, it would really screw up the thing, maber someone go on it from every corner of the globe, even the ocean, that would make the whole map red, strange you dont see dots from wireless people out on the ocean though.

Actually, in their map, they look to have outsmarted themselves. I grabbed sattelite photographs of their Northern Siberian dot and there's absolutely nothing there but a mountain range. Not even a field. It's quite near the most desolate area on Earth - at the most, maybe 500 people live under that big old dot.
