   A thought occurs:
Every hour, it forwards the date on the map by 1 hour. It is currently 0600 hours wherever it is with 6 hours remaining. Therefore, at 5AM GMT it will be 1200 hours at wherever.
Research indicates that this area is most likely Krasnoyarsk.
Krasnoyarsk (Russian: Красноя́рск) is the administrative center of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, and the third largest city in Siberia, having a population of 909,341 as of the 2002 Ce

It's a pretty decent ARG/Viral Marketing campaign. Very unlikely it's a cyberterrorism attack. Possible? Yes. Probable? No. None the less it's something fun to do. Though it might be interesting to see some one try to pull off propogation of a virus through viral marketting. I'd like to see how succesful it is.

think about it. An independent gaming company that is unknown by everyone. Seemingly just a waste of a domain name. What better way to get famous then stage a terrorist attack for the first day of the 4th of July weekend (AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE) that will happen at exactly midnight no matter where you live. At midnight, a link comes up saying ""click here to see a video of what we are doing."" It links to a video of one of their games. BANG! instant popularity.

A search of the U.S. Trademark office site turns up this: http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=b5urrr.2.1
"Audio and video equipment, namely, amplifiers, preamplifiers, radio frequency tuners, keypads, remote controllers, audio and video switching units; and custom designed cooling fans for audio and video equipment for use internally and externally attached to said equipment"
But Sherbourn's site (http://www.sherbourn.com/) isn't the one of a company that would do something like this. Odd

I have a question for the creator. In that screenshot where x21b was posting on forums and the poster beneath him had an Xbox 360 avatar, do you know what site that was?
People have been pointing out that this is a lot like Halo 2's ILB ARG back in 2004. Between this mysterious ARG and an Xbox 360 logo being somewhat associated with where a site member vists gives me a sinking suspicion that I might know what this is. I'd appreciate it if you or anybody could PM me the link to the site.

Try going to eon.com, July 3rd is Capital Market day, Maybe has something to do with it. Also, try eon3.com, it's a home automation site in austrailia, but look at the top left and top right corners, x10 labeled. That MUST have something to do with it. Didn't someone mention something about a kid from austrailia having something to do with eon8.com?

Does this remind anyone of the countdown on the TV show Lost at all? 'Cause it seems uncannily similar. We know where the servers are being hosted but we can't find anyone responsible, or any concrete answers...just like the crash survivors found all the laboratories and experimentation sites, but still haven't found any culprits.

It's the first ever (but not origional) Mass Multiplayer Online Hacking game. I looked it up on Gamespy.com, it's going to be a MUD console game concentrated solely on hacking other people and stealing their "Megahurtz", the first person to install a virus in over 3.2 billion people's computers wins Wired Magazine's "Asshat of the Year" award. Rated "T" for Teens, gameplay may change during online play.
