OMGOSH A WEBSITE WITH A TIMER AND FAKE SECURITY!!!1 This is retarded. If you or anyone else really cares about this site enough to be digging through it, I'm sorry for you. It's probably either a cheap notpr0n ripoff, or maybe the release of a game. If it's the end of the world, you can feel free to punch me for telling you that it's retarded. And YTMND isn't trying to stop it.
"News(i guess)- alot of dots on the deployment tracker seem to be located in nevada. Area 51 anyone?
also-[i cant remember what i wrote here...god]
aallssoo-- can somebody highlight the image on eon5.com? im too scared to" that was a comment theat i left. I come back an hour later, it seems to be deleted. Eon8 is on to ytmnd.
gather the children.
" I did a little research. They say Project X13600 is incoming. However, I
did some research on this. X13600 is the Bank Number for a Gene
Dmduncr. What is Dmduncr? I have no idea. Could it be a short version of
'Dumb Dunce'? Could it be related to this mystery gene? Who knows? "
As I mentioned above, it is the gene bank ID for fruit flies. Big thing in the cloning/genome world.
I went to www.aon8.com, not eon8, and set my clock forward, and right when it hit zero my internet could no longer access the internet (AIM or anything). It would immediately say that the server/website could not be reached. All the other computers on my network are fine though. Might be a coincidence, but I restarted my computer and it's fine now.
"X13600 is written in Yellow letters next to "Project Tracker". X13600 is the code for mRNA in Fruit Flies, which incidentily will be a part of a major experiment testing the immune systems in zero gravity enviroments to be sent on the Space Shuttle Mission scheduled to be launched on June 1st, 2006. However no solid connection has been verified, and this could only be coincidence."

Interesting. But regardless, this looks like a viral marketing site to me.
On the map there are 48-50 dots, most of which correpsond to actual cities or locations. One in middle of Canada corresponds with the city of Fond Du Lac, Others are on Toronto, Chicago, Milwakee, probably Seattle. It Seems odd how most are on Major cities, and then theyres others like Fond Du Lac in Canada. I used google earth see if you guys can get the dots zeroed in on theyre cities.
What's weird is that the UK dots are generally in the middle of nowhere (I enlarged the image with the dots on it and put it on top of a map of the UK with Photoshop), like, one is about 10 miles south of Inverness and another is in western County Durham, near the border with Cumbria - not particularly populous areas O_o
one of the dots next to Slave Lake is a town called Rocher River. Google satellite images show there's some weird facility in the area. Also the dot in Siberia is way further away from former gulag Noril'sk, it's either a town called Khatanga or Kirbey. The satellite photos out there are total sh*t though.
Opps ran out of room. I think this IS going to be an act of ecological
terrorism by extreme animal rights activists. Somehow it involves
fruitflies, Canada, and July 1st. It's the best theory I can come up with
and I really don't think this is a viral because they keep deleting the
wiki and forum posts and such. Would someone with a NG account please go
there and post this new information?
12 MONKEYS!!!!!!!! OH NOEZ!!!!11!!!
YOU f*ckING IDIOTS ITS BASED ON YOUR f*ckING COMPUTERS TIME IF IT WAS A COMPANY OR WHATEVER THE f*ck YOU THINK IT IS IT WOULD BE BASED ON THE TIME OF THE SERVER NOT YOUR OWN COMPUTERS. JUST CHANGE YOUR f*ckING TIME AHEAD AND ITS f*ckING NOTHING YOU IDIOTS. GO BACK TO LIVEJASMIN AND WACK OFF TO FAT n****rS.
eon9.com now states 本服务器上没有该站点 instead of japanese characters. Also, if you change your clock to the end of the timer, the site crashes and rewfreshes to the actual countdown time. You can not mess with the timer. It is set to 00.00 on 07/01/06. The timer will stop then. you cn not fool the timer. AGHH
It's based on your windows time because that's the easiest way to code it. When you move your clock ahead it will reach 0, then refresh the page. So obviously at 12am EST the timer will reach 0, auto refresh the page, and something new will be there (or all of our internets will consume eachother in one big e-explosion)!
Has no one even looked at the source yet? Hmm. Well, if you'd look at it, in the javascript there's a comment:
/* REDIR UNTIL USER/SERVER SYNC */
Just after they set up the actual clock (as far as I can tell, I've never learned javascript). Not sure why they'd use the phrase "redir", but I'm pretty sure that'd be the code that refreshes it and syncs it with server time when the counter hits 0 after you change your computer clock. Not much else to find, unless it's in the script.
Sh0d0kan: if u noticed, it surficed in gaming community
Sh0d0kan: and only gamers are that hardcore about secrets like that in their own communities
The Real X9: alternate reality gaming
Sh0d0kan: so see, it's just a hoax
Sh0d0kan: i'll be back in 1-2 hours
The Real X9: cool
Sh0d0kan: btw chris rossori is a cs/diablo 2 player
Sh0d0kan: i'm actually good friends with him
Sh0d0kan: he's 19 years old
The Real X9: oh sh*t
Sh0d0kan: he has a sadistic mind, so i wouldnt put it past him to do this
Uhhh, this is kind of weird. I started trying to decode the hex (I used http://www.paulschou.com/tools/xlate/). I didn't see any cohesive message to what was returned when I did #1 on the deployment logs, but when I went back to the site to get #2 and hit refresh - I started getting Cannot be Found errors. Now I cannot go to eon8.com anymore! Anyone want to try to continue where I left off?
