Impressive work. +6 for amount of effort put in, -1 because I'm still thinking about why it's on the moon; I don't like to think this early in the morning :p
Hear hear. What kind of world are we living in where games are marketed just because they look pretty but have sucky gameplay? My brother and I always play X-COM UFO Defense or Terror when he's in for Christmas. Keep spreading the word, I'm off to replay fallout 2.
It's good to see that amazing games like fallout are still alive in so many people's hearts. Screw next generation consoles; give me my old pentium III running windows 98 and a copy of fallout 1 and 2. Who could ask for more?
Oh btw, I 1'd this because it fails to be funny, "too many sources to credit" is a lame excuse to not document anything, and you failed to capture any sense of what a YTMND should be.
Maybe its because that you realised that just about every war fought in Europe and the Americas was between Christians, or at least involved Christians on one side of the battle. When you start adding up those numbers, you'd realize that more people have died at the hands of Christians since the creation of Christianity as a religion than any other group of peoples.
Ever hear the saying "62.5 % of all statistics are meaningless"? It means that people can spin numbers to say whatever they want them to say, kinda like what you have just done. I noticed that you failed to represent the whole of Christianity by leaving off everyone's favorite group of self-righteous hippocrites, the protestants, off.
Sigh, when will you ever stop. I believe that my posts on your other pathetic attempts to push your religion onto the rest of us should sum up my feelings about this YTMND as well.
Very nice. I do think you could get rid of the stuff about whetstone at the beginning and it wouldn't take away from the message of this YTMND. If only more people could decide to just live this life and enjoy it instead of being so angry and up-in-arms about causes that are practically insignificant in comparison to the history of the universe, the earth, or just the human race. If only.
5'd for 'lol faith healing', and for just having fun instead of trying to actually prove anything. Unfortunately, your disclaimer must have been too wordy for some people (casts a glance up the list of comments :D).
If skeptics were allowed such cop outs, this entire debate could be settled by saying 'The universe was formed by the Big Bang. To ask what caused the Big Bang is not a valid question because the nature of the Big Bang is that it required no cause.' Oh, btw, if you didn't notice I just took your logic and replaced 'God' with 'Big Bang'. Next time don't try to use science in a proof of religious beliefs. It only succeeds in making people sad at the misinterpretation and butchering of scientific concepts.
Nothing makes me smile more than watching people try to guilt others into converting to their way of believing. Honestly though, you believe in something, good for you. Now just realize that so does everyone else, and we don't want to listen to you, or anyone else, try to push your way of thought onto us.
