It's probably cheaper than filming in the United States. A lot of film companies will shoot in Canada because it costs less... I've never heard of doing it in Iceland, though, unless there was a specific reason for it. But usually if you're shooting in a weird place (like Canada) there's a monetary reason for it.

Good idea, but I don't really think it sounds close enough to be mistaken. On a side note, I love that song.
