I didn't really agree with you at first, but then I realized the error of my ways. This switch-to-repeating-background technique has always been used to make a site unusually long, so I followed that precedent by default. The thing is, in most of those sites, the length was the whole point (see: notforanyone, nigga-look-at-yo-hair, TOWEREWOT, etc.). In my site, length is [i]not[/i] the whole point. I like the interlude, but even I have to admit that a minute and a half of tumbling Rooney is rather extravagant.
I've revised the site to reflect my revised thinking. I also prefer where the music cuts out this time around, so that's an added bonus.
