Other reasons PC are better than Macs exist. Macs are made out of more toxic chemicals than PCs are, Macs are more expensive than PCs are, Macs are less flexible than PCs are, Macs are f*ggier than PCs are, Macs are snobbier than PCs are, Macs ruin the internet for PC users, Macs start with an M whereas PC starts with a P.
Pinnochio-"once again. i stupid pc user. idunno i can understand your kinda mad that
you wasted your money on your computer. btw like i said before who the hell
wants to play games on a computer thats gay. i mean it was cool in 1999. go
play some WOW fakes LOL. i think its plain to see that the ad saids that pc
user have no life and mac user are just alittle layed back. ya pc is good
for crunching numbers. ROFL like you have nothing mean and truthful to say
about mac other than about there games.." Uh, wtf?
Well, we all know macs are sh*t, moreso with their new stupid ads that go against everything the majority of PC users use PCs for. I recently saw a commercial that makes it sound like everyone's going to get vista anyway. Upgrades aren't hassles. A mac would be no different, unless of course everything on the mac is SH*T and therefore doesn't NEED a good computer...
.....Excellent...pure genius. But one thing, you f*cking Mac fanboys need to stop complaining and get something better to do than to browse sites like this which are obviously pro PC over Mac. Oh...I'm sorry...You don't have something better to do....YOU OWN A MACINTOSH. Negative attention is all you whiny c*ckmunchers get. "Hurrr parallel shiz and BootCamp make Macs BETTAR111!!" Well trying upgrading your sh*t to be as capable as PCs you incompetent DICKS.
PC is better.
Apple has great marketing, and therefore, spews propaganda regularly that their product is the best. Why doesn't Microsoft? Because they aren't insecure in their superiority, unlike Apple.
It is claimed that Apple has no virus problems. Sorry to burst your bubble, but hackers and virus-makers only make viruses for PC's, since they would target the greatest number of people (considering that only about 5% of computer users have Macs). Once people buy into the propaganda and Macs become popular, new viruses will crop up and Mac, with its lack of immunity, will be eaten alive and Apple will lose millions in software.
Apple is based on fad only, and as you know, what the computer does is what matters, not how it looks. You can do so much more with PC, and PC is easier to use. Apples "simplicity" is its restricted program design, allowing you to do less for the sake of allowing computer illiterates to use it more easily. More things are compatible with PC, and Apple's software is imperious and
restrictive. Just try keeping your music on a PC that also has iTunes on it (a crappy piece of software now that it skips so much). Apple is also more expensive, catering to and thereby taking advantage of those who don't have computers yet or want new ones. They CHARGE $150 for their premium INTERNET BROWSER, as opposed to the free and easy to use Windows Internet Explorer of the PC, or even Mozilla Firefox. All it is is a money trap, bent on charging you more for inferior material. Besides, Macs have no value in business purposes, focusing on expensive recreational hardware and software and not the basics, such as spreadsheets and word processing. Steve Jobs tries to play on your generations expected confusion with some aspects of PC's, when while you should just learn how to use the better machine and be compatible with 95% of the world, he sells you a more expensive, inferior, yet "cooler" computer. If you look at Apple's fundamental software infrastructure, it is like reading Chinese when compared to the
common, standardized, efficient program writing of PC's. All of Apple's design is backwards compared to Microsoft. Would you like to pay more for a "in style" product that lets you do a quarter of what you want, and keeps you isolated from the rest of the digital world? Apple's only upside is their keeping Microsoft from being a complete monopoly, which would make PC software illegal. That is how much better PC's are. Apple is a multi-billion dollar technological firm in the same industry as Microsoft, and Microsoft STILL is often deemed a monopoly.
You seem to not be lost to the propaganda yet, and I congratulate you on that. Go out there and act like any red-blooded freedom-loving American and do yourself a favor and buy a cheaper, more efficient, more satisfying machine, namely, a PC.
Audiophile, Audiophile, what world are you living in? You can't possibly back up PC's being superior with those insufficient opinionated arguments that are oh so false. I understand that you are PC person and are trying to come across as an intellectual but you fail in all aspects. Any facts that you attempted to demonstrate were wildly inaccurate such as the virus statement. Do you even know how hard it is to make a virus? It's very very easy, you barely have to do anything, you know why macs don't get

MACs do have one redeeming quality though: their OS is Unix based. Sure PCs are more versatile pieces of hardware, but that still doesn't change that fact that their most mainstream OS, Windows, is an all around sh*tty OS. Although you could always install Linux on your PC, it's just too bad that you can't run games on it without using some third-party application that only works half of the time.
GAMES FOR WINDOWS! GAMES FOR WINDOWS! GAMES FOR WINDOWS! GAMES FOR WINDOWS! GAMES FOR WINDOWS! GAMES FOR WINDOWS! GAMES FOR WINDOWS! GAMES FOR WINDOWS! GAMES FOR WINDOWS! GAMES FOR WINDOWS! I don't understand the "Windows could be better" argument. If it could be better, and it is so obvious that some random person off the internet can realize this, then why hasn't it been implemented yet? I doubt that they encourage stupid design in the Microsoft R&D department, but I suppose it is possible.
bigdrewbowski you offered no actual evidence to support your claims.. You just acted like a typical dickhead. Bravo. Windows XP is a VERY stable OS and it is VERY WELL considering EVERY SINGLE HACKER targets this OS in the world yet still it survives and thrives. If MAC OS X were to have this kind of attention it would get wiped out by hacks and exploits. Microsoft are doing bloody well considering how many people hate them. Also, the new macs are just PC's with a different cover.. Boot camp.. Intel chips.

In response to Macs being immune to viruses because of being run off of Unix
If there was some magical way to make a computer immune to viruses, why wouldn't Microsoft have done it by now after many operating system upgrades? Surely it would be better to redesign Windows with Unix than to spend countless millions of dollars on having support teams develop anti-virus strategies.
