I personally am an equal fan of Sony and Nintendo, for different reasons. But dang it Sony, we just don't have the money to spend on a freaking game console. Oh yah and btw Xbox360 which doesn't support Blue Ray it makes the games crap. They put too much space into the graphics and no room for actual fun. For example, Madden 2007 has no create a team or fantasy draft in franchise. Al it really is, is a mediocre franchise. A really fun 1 player superstar mode, and a decent 2 player mode
Who in their right mind would want to pay an extra $200 on a game console for blu-ray just to watch HD movies when Blu-ray isn't even a proven format yet (Even though Blu-ray is superior to HD-DVD, it could turn end up like Sony's BetaMax). If the PS3 didn't have blu-ray, I'd get one... but until blu-ray wins the format war, I'm better off getting a Wii until the PS3's price drops. In 2 or 3 years, blu-ray or hd-dvd (whichever wins) will be $200. I wouldn't want to upgrade my entire DVD collection though
Actually, n00bsauce... You're forgetting that you need to buy three of each controllers to play your games. So that's three WiiMotes, three WiiRetro and three WiiNunchuku. Not to mention that most of Wii's online features will be calculated into the price if you don't get the system at launch. A grand total of $532.11. Wii dosen't look so cheap now does it? Not to mention, the Wii is nothing more than a Gamecube with an extra 512MB of RAM. A Gamecube costs $100... does it really cost and extra $150 for it?
Not to mention... that your WiiVirtual Console is going to charge you $10-$20 for f*cking second generation games. You're going to pay $20 for StarFox64 download? Ripoff anyone? See... you need to look at the situation clearly. PlayStation3 costs around $1,100 to make and they're selling it for $600... is that a f*cking deal or what? Unlike Nintendo, who's selling something ( if it did follow traditional marketing) for $100 for $200. The Wii is nothing more than a Gamecube with a f*cking Lightgun. A NES
can use a WiiMote. Big f*cking deal.

And Nintendo is selling you inferior technology for a high price. Would you pay $400 for a GeForce4 Ti 4600 vid card? No. So why would you pay $250 for a Wii? Because it's cheaper than the PS3? That dosen't make sense... $1,000 product for $600 or a $100 product for $250? Clearly, I'll take getting ripped off with the Wii because it's "cheaper".
Slanted fanboy crap. It's about the games, that's why consoles succeed, not price, or graphics. Case in point: CameCube launch price $199.95 (current $99.99 since September 25, 2003, total units sold ~21 million), Playstation 2 launch price $299.99 (current $129.99 since April 20, 2006, total units sold ~100 million, Xbox launch price $299.99 ($149.99 since March 29, 2004, total units sold ~24 million). I'm not gonna buy any of them until I try the games, and if I were you I'd do the same.

Buying Wii is just about as dumb a decision as buying a PS3. You are basically buying an overpriced N64 with a gimmick controller. "Oh but teh controller changes how games are palayd" sure for a while, but gimmicks always get old fast, not to mention your arm will probably tire fast on some of the games. Xbox 360= joke, PS3 = bigger joke. It seems like everyone loses this console wars.
I used to be big into ps2. It was the only console I've ever owned. now... I've lost interest in gaming and quit because I got bored of gaming. I thought I would never buy another console
I was wrong. I'm totally getting a wii because it looks new and exciting. #$@% graphics. I want something new. The wii version of madden looks awesome with refined controls to make football feel more natural.
Also, I think the ps2 will outsell ps3 and wii this holiday season because it's the cheapest.
Great site, although a couple things bugged. One, Super Smash Bros. won't be available in November but next year. Two, Internet browsing on the Wii is free forever, not just a year (as long as you purchase it by next June, after that Opera starts charging for the browser). Add in Red Steel instead of SSB and change it to free Internet forever, and it's perfect. Gee, you'd never know I was a Nintendo fanboy......Wii60 FTW!
