If i say 2+2=4 and everyone on YTMND is in agreement then it is because it is common sense, not because we are a "hive mind" All of your anectdotes prove NOTHING. These people merely used their thoughts of some sort of divinity as a coping device.
I feel for your simple mind because I used to have one too. You see the world is going to sh*t and you panic; therefore you look to a simple answer.

I will make this suggestion, Lets have Whetstone come to a giant YTMND party, let all of the athiests light some torches, then let them burn him alive. That way Jesus will give him "toys" in heaven.

Thats nice, a handful of opinions don't really matter all too greatly on the grand scale of things but I still wonder why these are still being made. I mean your point was made and those who disagreed, disagreed and you really don't have the right to tell them they are wrong in that belief because it is just as valid as your own. Anyway I just get bored by it but whatever. Either way have a good day.
If I am not mistaken Hitler was an Atheist and a Vegan (or Begitarian I cant remember wich). I don't know about germany though they may or may not have been catholics during WWII but I don't particularly know. I do know they were less than dirt poor and willing to accept anything or anyone that would let them have enough money for food. Yeah Atheists killed alot of people but to be honest thats just because they were able to get alot more done, it's called managing your time.

It is stupid to continue to put things like this on YTMND. Freedom of speech is all fine and dandy, having your own opinon is all fine and dandy. You are free to do as you wish and say what you want, but it is still stupid to put debate, religion, and things such as this in a place like YTMND. This place is meant to be stupid and fun, and to ask people to sit through god knows how many pages with boring music, before voting is stupid as well.
What better way to get hordes of attention, continous site views and the acknowledgement of mods then to parade around a 'sensetive' and 'debatable' matter such as religion. What an ingenius way to be a total attention whore. I think that's what all this religious fiasco is about- within the end, Whetstone is just as much as an attention whore as a Paris Hilton.
OK, in the interest of fairness, I'll say the same thing to you that I've said to other religious and atheist YTMND creators: TAKE YOUR OPINION, AND SHOVE IT. Too much to read and not enough time to read it. You do realize that you can read it much faster since you already know what it all says, right? And of course anyone who doesn't speak English as a first language, no matter how good they might be, doesn't stand a chance. Think about that the next time you're working on the timing for something like this.

Thanks for that whetstone. I'm a Christian and reading stuff like that is very encouraging. It will help me to accept death as a glorious occurance for Christians; I hope to rejoice their ascent to heaven more than to mourn their departure from this world. I just wana say again hwo much I appreciate it.

P.S. The albums "A Collision" and "B Collision" by David Crowder Band talk a lot about how Christians can and should deal with death and I find them very encouraging in that regard
Hey there, Whetstone. I've been an avid supporter of your sites here. I'm also Catholic. Keep this stuff up, and you've lost a fan. And quit using examples from the 1500s to denounce Catholicism. That's like taking 1930's Germany and using it as a basis for hating Germans today. Actually, it's worse. Do some real research, look at some non-biased (or, God forbid, Catholic) sources. And also keep in mind this simple truth: Times change.
Whetstone, you have been raised in a religious environement ( I suppose ). So, all your life, you've been taught all that religious crap. But what if were born in an islamic country? You would burn in hell, cause you would be muslim? Those who lived in an atheist family are free. They can think about religion and choose to be religious or atheist, not because they were thaught to, but because they thought about it. Try to open your mind, Whetstone. Did you saw proof of God existence?

Whetstone, YTMND is a comedy site. Its not a place to preach your beliefs to others or decry those who disagree. This isnt comedy, but more religious fodder. I'm just asking you to stop it. You were making hilarious and original YTMNDs, what happened to that? Stick to what you started with, and leave the rest of us alone. I have no problem with ytmnd's that want to preach a message. So my one star is not because of this one's content. It is because all it is is pages flipping and text. Don't want to sound ignorant, but I like pictures (as I'm sure everyone else does) and I was incredibly bored by page 10. Your more recent ones have been hitting that mark...so keep on improving. Oh yeah...and I disagree.
Seeing sh*t like this over and over and over is depressing me. YTMND is quickly becoming oversaturated with too many non-sequitur-non-sequiturs. Whetstone, that's awesome that you love your faith, but why not utilize that free-time into something else more productive, like volunteering at your local church?
I quite enjoyed this YTMND, didn't much of the arrogance that often plague christian propaganda. Quite a decent read.
Too bad YTMND is once again proving that atheists are often as ignorant and hateful as the fundamentalistic fanatics that they oppose. Try to open your minds people, blindly lashing out at everyone who does not agree with you is their job. And yes, I too am an atheist, but I passed my christian hating phase a while ago.
Such hate from people who want to see peace by eclipsing religion, yet only sustain hate on earth by hating those who seek the same kind of peace. It is expected that he will get hated, even threatened, but he isn't hurting you in any way. To feel threatened by this is to know you are exposed to some kind of truth, his aren't particularly conversion making as they seem to show just certain incidents, but nobody said you cannot gain something from even just a bit of the word.
i have twice ever offended someone religiously to their face on purpose, and both times it was because they tried to force their religions on me (judaism and Athiesm). other than that i will respect everyones beliefs, but persevere in my own faith. (note: my brother shares this account with me and he is significantly less mature than i am, so if any of my comments and such contradict this, theyre most likely his, and i say that because iev seen one of that that does)...Five to you Whetstone
