Well SirLemming, not much could be said about this that hasn't already been said, sooo... get your *ss to the hall of fame so I can be number 1 for a little while!!! ;) Also, despite my dislike of the Cosby fad and lack of knowledge about Cowboy Bebop, this is clearly the work of a YTMND master. You rock.
To everyone who thinks this site "lacks humor": watch the Cowboy Bebop intro. That's what the link in the description is for. Of course, no joke should ever be explained, but if you didn't get the joke anyway I might as well. The humor is in the parody. Maybe you don't LIKE the humor, but it IS in fact there.
It might be "humorous", but it's hardly anything more than chuckle-worthy. It'd be like someone editing the intro of Sailor Moon except putting Cosby in there. Or the Dragonball Intro, or What's with Andy. It's just Cosby edited into a cartoon's intro. Not to say it isn't well done, because it is, but it's just not laughworthy.

"-2 for acting like a jackass if people don't like this site" Learn to read. I've actually ENCOURAGED downvoting in some of my comments (I hate when people vote 5 just for effort). What I criticize are people who downvote for idiotic reasons, like "anime is for f*gs". And people who say there is no humor are factually wrong. There IS humor. That's a fact. The opinion is whether or not you actually find the humor to be funny. Many people don't seem to be recognizing the parody. Hence the video link.
I'm just saying you shouldn't be criticizing anybody regardless of how they vote. To help you understand, “anime is for f*gs” really means, “1’d because this site is some dumb parody about some stupid anime that only Japanese wannabe’s would know about or care to know about and it lacks entertainment and teh funny”, but people are just too lazy to type that out.
Was that quoted for truth or something? Because all of it except the "it lacks
entertainment and teh funny" part makes just as little sense as "anime is for f*gs" does. It adds nothing. People who downvote or upvote a site for reasons other than what's ON THE SITE are just plain stupid. Anime is dumb blah blah blah, who cares, this is not an anime, this is a YTMND.
First of all I never said, “anime was for f*gs”, I was just telling SirLemming what people really mean when they 1 a site and give that reason since he was making fun of people who were doing that. As far as people voting about “what's ON THE SITE”, this site is a parody of an ANIME so I believe all people who bash it because its anime are justified.
First of all, your "first of all" makes no sense since I never accused you of saying that. Second of all, your reasons for defending these idiot downvoters still make no sense in any way at all. "I don't like this because it's anime-related" is a completely, 100% invalid argument. Even "I don't like this because it's anime" is completely invalid. You can't dislike something solely because of the country it comes from. It's complete and utter stupidity. Anyone who disagrees isn't worth talking to.
Since when can you not "dislike something solely because of the country it comes from". True it may be a shallow way of thinking, but so is a statement like that. Oh and that first part of my last comment wasn't directed at you but at the people claiming I was just an anime hater and didn’t know what cowboy bebop was, when I never made such a claim, I only said "-1 for anime".
"I am justified in hating it because I could never get into it." This makes sense to an extent; the extent that you are turned off to anime, that you don't want to watch it because most of the ones you've seen are bad. Where it crosses the line is actually trying to ARGUE that a show is bad simply because it is anime. When you actually try to convince someone, simply using that weightless argument. And it's even MORE irrelevant when you use that as a reason to downvote a YTMND that simply references anime.
In summary, whether or not you like Cowboy Bebop or anime in general has nothing to do with whether or not Cosby Bebop is a good parody of it. This is neither pro-Cowboy Bebop nor anti-Cowboy Bebop. Neither pro-anime nor anti-anime. Neither pro-Cosby nor anti-Cosby. But people are friggin' paranoid about this stuff. "I must not let this site get popular, it will cause everyone to love Cowboy Bebop, which will make my life worse somehow!"
Though it would be nice for people to vote on just the YTMNDs themselves, for example, there's a reason noone uses country music in their YTMND: people would downvote it en masse. Let's pretend for an instant I took some obsure Russian TV show and took some sound clips of Arnold and reworked the intro. Would it be downvoted? Yes. Yet here your site is at number 1.
For those who appreciate the effort & quality put into a YTMND, but don't absolutely LOVE it.. I recommend a 4 star vote. (I tend to vote 4 a lot, as you can see from my voting records..) I just personally think 1 or 2 stars should only be used for site theft, intentionally annoying sites, or lack of any material/ effort.
