On on the site ?Why God Exists (Updated with Q and A at the end)
A) I enjoy the fact that you quoted Francis Bacon who was not only the Father of the Scientific Method but also the Father of Empiricism; and yet, you use deductive reasoning in your arguements the very thing Bacon and likeminded thinkers were trying to refrain from and get rid of. Example: Everything that comes to be has a cause->Universe came to be thus it has cause->God did it. B) St. Anselm quotes "God is that [being] than which nothing greater can be conceived." And yet you're are not only trying to prove "why", but "how" and "for what". If you can conceive something no higher than the almighty Lord you believe in, why are you trying and how can you do so? Also if you consider Dieism, does it really matter if he exists or not?
