This song is pretty recent (2005, if I'm not mistaken) and quiet, but, to me, it doesn't seem to fit with the animation. Still, this kind of music makes this YTMND seem less crazy than other sites I've been to.

I agree with those who said the New Seekers song should have been put back, but I guess this new song isn't so bad. If no one else has told you who the song was by, it's likely "Bob Sinclar feat. Gary Pine"
