Dogs tend to ravage turtles - they smell like mobile chew toys. Runaways are tough. First, it's probably closer than you think to where it was last. They tend to hit a good hiding spot and hunker down- they can hide in incredibly unlikely places and are really good at not being seen. Give the neighbors a 'missing turtle' flyer with a good picture of this kind of turtle so if one of them find it you'll get it back.
Besides illegal trade, turtle conservationists are concerned about indiscriminate fishing methods, such as trawling, where turtles are being caught in huge nets intended for other sea dwellers. Turtles are also being killed during dredging, a method of raking the seabed to deepen harbors and waterways.
1st and 4most: don't blow a gasket..!! He is fine!! One of my turtles escaped and was gone for weeks!!!! He had me scared to death.. and for no reason. He came back when he was hungry!!! :-)) Don't be shocked when you're sitting around watching TV one night and you see him crawling across the floor!
I really think it's sad how many people are spellbound by lyrical parody--and the whole chorus is the same as the original. So it's professional-looking. It's not funny at all. weirdalwannabesarethemannow, dog!
