I understand that these elements are part of the musical genre (my favorite type of music consequently), but maybe I need to be more specific in my comparison. For example, in Biosfear vs. Just Let Me Breathe both riffs are unison (between guitar and keyboard) and alternate between the tonic and subtonic in identical eigth and sixteenth note rhythms (barring two extra eigth notes in the CM section). But again, I say it's a ripoff just to be belligerent. I actually enjoy both bands.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Circus Maximus, but the borrowing is a little bit more obvious than just "influence". Also, the CM members don't even list DT as a musical inspiration on their bios on their website (last I checked). The band looks the most like DT is, of course, German prog band Dreamscape, they are basically doppelgangers.
