Always found thinking up sites, exciting. Making them bored me. Was hard enough getting myself to create them in college, now working full time with the better users all gone, forget it. So few creators here were capable of doing both the things I thought made ytmnd great, being open minded enough to let themselves be influenced by others and creative enough to make something that's still their own. You were one of, if not, the best. Hope the jobs gotten easier.
I thought some of your earlier sites were unreal and there's nothing else like it on ytmnd. Was disappointed when you gave up and started making only the inaccessible stuff for your forum / IRC friends. Do you still create stuff anywhere else? I'd like to see it.
CONGRATS ON FINALLY BEING FEATURED. PART THREE IS IN PRODUCTION, BUT THE FILM CREW'S UNION AFFILIATION IS GOING TO SLOW THIS DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY. ALSO I FORGET HOW TO USE PHOTOSHOP.
EVENTUALLY PART THREE WILL GET GREEN LIGHTED BY THE STUDIO, BUT FIRST THE WRITERS WILL HAVE TO MODIFY THE SCRIPT IN LIGHT OF THE FACT THAT WADE DOESN'T HAVE A MONOCLE AS EXPECTED. THIS COULD TAKE MONTHS AND COST MILLIONS IN RETAINING LICENSING CONTROL DURING THE HIATUS.
ORIGINALLY INSTEAD OF GRABBING THE ASK.COM TOOLBAR WADE WAS GONNA TAKE ASK JEEVES' MONOCLE, BUT APPARENTLY ASK.COM GOT RID OF JEEVES AND HE NEVER WORE A MONOCLE IN THE FIRST PLACE. IN HIND SIGHT WADE'S ABRUPT TRANSITIONS BETWEEN SPEAKING IN 90'S GHETTO SLANG AND AS A BRITISH INVESTMENT BANKER DON'T MAKE MUCH SENSE GIVEN HE'S NOT TAKING THE MONOCLE ON AND OFF.
Sorry, but if this site was an entry for the "who can get the fewest views per hour spent making a site on the day it was submitted" contest it's disqualified. Submitting your site as nsfw is considered cheating.
There's not enough room on ytmnd for two users to be making mixes of people saying the name of a baseball player whose name starts with Bo while he goes around killing for no reason.
It's funny because the same guy who paid to advertise razorgator on a site where most users are too young to shave is now advertising his campaign on a site where most users are too young to vote.
Make it so he's reaching behind her breast for a copy of Rug Insider magazine to read an article on the recent trend towards sharper colours in Yorkshire flats.
The enemy/troll thing seems exploitable. Watch spy and add anyone who downvotes one of your sites as your enemy. Users could form a list of all regular users with low voting averages and make them all enemies to protect ratings of future sites. I would stick with just blocking the comments/sites of users you don't like.
Bonus points because I like how you've been here for years and made a how to vote site, but you have no other sites and you've never commented before. If you ever make another site or comment on a YTMND I'm changing my vote to a 1.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvPTxfCIbnQ. A lesser man would be daunted by the task of inserting a story about alcohol streaming down his face into a hair-loss commercial, but Wade pulled it off pretty smoothly.
