I don't know, it just seems like these athiests are taking action with ytmnds not to state their own beliefs, but to serve as a reaction to the christian ytmnds. Granted, the same would apply if the christian ytmnds sprung up around atheist ones, but they didn't. The chrisian ytmnds came first, out of their own will and not out of a spite for other ytmnd sites.

I don't really know why you would refer to the viewpoint of a religous person as "simplistic". God, and the conception of him, is more complex than any scientific theory.
