didn't think I had to site my sources.. it's clearly ebaums world.. and that's queen in the background..
thanks for all the praise.. I can't believe you guys are still commenting.. it's so old! haha but for the record this is the ORIGINAL victory site, everyone else just copied this one :).. it was posted the minute it happened!
and AHAHAHAH @ gonaho!
I didn't find this to be TOO offensive when it just contained the assassination, but now bringing the WTC into it, and drawing some sort of connection between both events is horribly offensive and in bad taste. I hope it gets removed.

luigi12: You, sir, are a gigantic *ss goblin. This YTMND wasn't meant to be funny, it was meant to tell the community that the page was down, in YTMND form (a crappy edit job, a tiled image, and a well chosen song), what else would be appropriate? Get
Yes it's true, the image is no longer hosted either! I'm really busy now -- maybe I'll edit the site later to include a pic of the image no longer being hosted -- and might take someone's suggestion of mixing we are the champs and we will rock you togeth
inkdrinker: I tend to agree with you.. what does everyone else think (since this site seems to be becoming the central "we won" YTMND) We Will Rock You or We Are The Champions? I'll leave it as we will rock you for the time being =)
Yep I think we all know the war isn't over, but I mean we got them to back down -- that's gotta say something!
Also I just noticed that I put the wrong Queen song up! It's supposed to be "we are the champions"!! I was in such a rush to put it up I ca
Kishkumen: hey thanks! It was pure coincidence, I was making the super nazi one when I noticed someone had JUST commented that they took it down on the announcement with the e-mails, so I checked it out, and knew I had to tell the community -- obviously
I'll see what everything looks like in the morning and maybe donate some money to this site -- maybe we can get something going.. 50 cents here a dollar there.. to round up money that Max has had to spend on this whole thing.. and to help out on future le
Yes it is true -- and yes this will most likely be deleted -- but someone had to spread the news! Maybe Max will keep it as a testament to our victory!

I don't think Mr. Bauman would appreciate someone from the YTMND community stealing content from his site, and posting it somewhere else without HIS consent! But hey, going by his logic, ANYONE can release ANYONE else's work! So long as they "sign" a "release"!

A) I'm not a lawyer, but last I checked, before one posts content on their web page, it is THEIR responsibility to ensure that the person releasing the material actually owns the rights to said material. It seems to me that since Mr. Bauman differentiates between the "original author" and the "user who submitted it", he is admitting that they are different people, and thus admitting to posting material which he isn't authorized to display! Copyright laws anyone?
B) He links us to the form which was "signed" and it consists of a few fields (name, e-mail, etc.) and a check box that agrees to a lengthily e-greement -- hardly a signed consent that he has been claiming to have! But it doesn't matter anyway, since it was "signed" by someone who didn't even own it to begin with!

SORRY for all the posts -- let me try this again! -------------
I just caught myself up on this "battle" that's been going on -- first off I must say for someone who criticizes professionalism, Mr. Bauman has pretty lousy grammar! Now I noticed this on his pathetic FAQ (does he even know what that stands for?)
"We honor ALL requests to remove unauthorized material. If any original content creator wants their material removed or wants to be given credit, they can contact us. Contrary to all of the attacks and threats, WE HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANY COMMUNICATION FROM ANYONE CLAIMING TO BE THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR OF THE ANIMATION IN QUESTION, OTHER THAN THE USER WHO SUBMITTED IT TO US. IF YOU ARE THE ORIGINAL CREATOR AND WANT IT REMOVED, BY ALL MEANS, PLEASE LET US KNOW."
So is he saying that the person who submitted the image WASN'T the original author?? I quote from the e-mail he sent Max:
"There is this big dispute over a piece of content that we received a signed release for."
