Who's to say X_X won't also generate something positive in the future for YTMND? Even if a TV show or blog mentions the X_X animation in passing it will generate a lot of interest. I actually don't disagree with your opinion syncan, but I do recognize that a lot of stuff that is good to me gets terrible ratings so you just sort of live with what the majority wants and carve out your own views. Besides, how many users are even going to put anywhere near 5% of the effort that the X_X took?

You made very good points dascoot and I applaud the effort/message but it will fall on deaf ears. The fact is, teenagers generally lack development in the area of the brain that deals with empathy. This is why it's natural for many kids to inflict pain on animals -- their brains have about as much development as a psychopath. Some people develop better than others, and some never develop properly (see: adults who "act like kids").
