After that crap about putting our differences aside, I was expecting some kind of 'Vote xxxx to save the world' message at the end. Pretty cheesy. But at least it was educational, so 4.
I've listened to the whole Rubinoos song, and they're really very different. Wanting to be somebody's boyfriend/girlfriend is hardly an original sentiment, and there aren't that many ways to express it. But hey, apparently it makes you cool on the internet to rag on Avril Lavigne (just look at the comment moderation), so well done I guess.
Creepy music. I'm glad it wasn't a screamer, but the things were too easy to find. Perhaps a better picture next time, and something less obvious than heads and bodies - like something you see, and it first seems innocent, but when you realise the 'twist', it's nasty psychological horror (say, a picture of a family eating a meal, with an empty high-chair at the table, and if you look closely at the dinner plates, you see little clues to indicate the baby has been cookd and is being eaten).
Actually, thinking about it, this would be better without the anti-Whetstone or religious part. Not because I support either Whetstone or religion (don't know Whetstone, and I'm an atheist), but because the matter Sagan raises, of human conceit compared to our astral insignificance, is essentially aside from religion. A separate issue.
Very profound. Choked me up a little, I must say. Great combo of the quote and the music. Though I'd recommend circling the 'pale blue dot' - all I could see was a small orange dot. Which I guess wasn't it.
I'd 5 for Dushku alone, but there's something slightly... wrong about it. Maybe I've seen her act too much, but it just doesn't seem to suit her to objectify herself like that.
