I've always liked how they put in those custom animations. You JUST get used to one of the three animations you see from a unit, and then you see that they designed ones specifically for hero-on-hero fights.
I like this YTMND. Interestingly, Valerie has such a different feel to it that, in some respects, I like it better than the myriad of Call On Me remixes I've heard.
Oh man, I just watched this movie last night, joked with my brother that that scene would have made an EXCELLENT ytmnd, and sure enough... someone has done it. No ill will. Too damned funny.
Yes, making it so only registered users can view YTMND would be a huge reduction in hosting costs. Of course, that would be because a comparatively small amount of people would even bother with YTMND. How much media will be writing articles about the site if they and/or most of their readers won't see anything? How appealing will advertising on YTMND be when most people don't even bother to look at it? Exclusivity isn't a good thing.
At least my Epic ytmnd used the proper audio.
And no, your description doesn't count. It's part of the fad, and you you make an Epic Manuver, you use the right audio.
Radio: I really, really wanted to keep that line in. The problem was that the scene is over a minute long, and my attempts to blur it in came out fairly bad. I was worried that I would bore/annoy watchers, so I trimmed it down to something a bit more manageable.
(I forgot to mention, I'm not advocating warez or anything, but garry's argument that the lack of MP will persuade people to buy G10 is fairly useless.
Why spend the 10 dollars when there will inevitably be a mod that provides all of G10's abilities, or simply get a free version of G10 and use it for Gmod's proper use, which is non-MP?
I'm not sure if anyone posted this, but the reason why it spins so much is that it's natural instict is to put its paws on the ground before it lands. The zero-G state confuses it, so it keeps spinning to try and find "ground".
When I did the audio for this, I had thought about putting them together. Thing is, I'm not much of an audio editor, and it came out really bad. Really, really bad.
Could you please provide proof that your YTMND is actually older? Because as it stands, the only proof is what I see, and that's that yours is two days younger.
To answer your second question, I've been playing Magic long enough to know to use hand-created 8th edition layouts, rather than using old layouts that Wizards has a tendency of being informed about people using without permission.
I trust you're aware that I posted this two days before you posted your own, right? Or that unlike your crap, mine use the actual Magic layout and proper mechanical wordings?
I've tweaked the speed in which the graphics go by. Not a ton; kept Vader's short but expanded on the Conan/Facial Expressions ones to give viewers more time to read them.
All I know is that I want to get on the forums right now to get that YTMND tester (I have a fairly complex YTMND and I want to make sure it synch), but the forum is down.
Why am I venting here? Dunno.
