Random dialogue remixes like this are now officially a fad...And the one good thing about it is that in this fad each work will have to be original to succeed - i.e witty, good beat and based on a different dialogue from some random movie or TV commercial -- I dunno, I'm a bit drunk right now. Good work.
I looked on Newgrounds and couldn't find a video that looked like this was taken from it. So to all you haters who are 1nning this because you think it's stolen--you're in the wrong. 5'd for spending so much free time to contributing original work to YTMND.
Originality+Talent+Taste is always a win in my book. I commend you for having the balls to show us this work of art that you've made. Whenever I think of doing something like this I always wuss out because I think it will be harshly criticized and downvoted by mindlessly immature viewers who just want amusement for themselves and don't give a rat's *ss about personal expression.
I think it's because more people know who Rosie O'Donnel is, and for that matter who he was as well, that people thought that choppy editing of a blow-up of a gif was more amusing. Besides, even if you're right, it still does not nullify the fact that publicity and elitism trump everything else on YTMND.
5'd for unabashed truth-telling. The odds are indisputably stacked against new users whose sites don't get nearly enough publicity. Also, it is not uncommon to have something stolen and made famous by a more popular user. My example: ajfreaksout.ytmnd.com -> retardrosie.ytmnd.com (actually, mine required less effort, but I think both were equally sh*tty. The other guy's site got much higher ratings nonetheless.)
Great sync! I thought you'd include the full length "SCAPADAPADABIBIDILIULILBALULBALUALBUIPDIDIDUDU" ("WRONG!!!") much to my disappointment. Epic nonetheless.
As for all music sucking after 2000, it's not entirely true per se, with the exceptions of a few over-used "genres" that are merely regurgitations of previous formulas of success. It's the innovative music that really makes it as art. That's why Pink Floyd was one of the best bands of the 20th century; nobody had a sound or style quite like them. Sadly today, the new genres aren't getting the attention they deserve on MTV and most radio stations, so all we hear is bland, unoriginal pop/rock crap.
Very nostalgic and original...But I agree with Sitsu, more could be done here, and in this brilliant idea of yours lies some desperately untapped humor potential.
