I understand that this isn't really all that funny. In fact, it's pretty cold hearted, since it's just some kid crashing into a pole. This is more or less a contrast to my other site, [site haaawbog:site], where there is a happy ending (the child is OK).
The moral of the story is, this site and my other one are just minimalist examples of actually doing something new, and not just regurgitating something from somewhere else. If I wanted to watch someone get hurt, I'd go to cracked. I come to YTMND see art and creativity in its crudest albeit often humorous forms.
I do appreciate the point that you're making. Honestly, some of my favorite kinds of sites are like this one--minimalist, brief, and only edited for length--because it shows how making just a few tweaks can completely change how you view something. Kacen and MurdarMachene have a huge library of examples.
