I was going to make an effort to comment less, but I like charlie brown. Charles schults was a genius. childhood is alienation and sorrow much more than it is the powerpuff bullsh*t you see in cartoons all the time. I used to sit around the house on the holidays and these cartoons would resonate so much because they dealt with bitterness and frustration so well. 30 year old actors play children in mondern media. Nobody can ever be down or not fit in. Charlie brown got his *ss handed to him.
