FAD ORGY! I could have made fun of MikStarYo and steakman, but I am not in a position to do so.

Well that's actually dishonest. Moonman is the worst. Footdoctor was just satirical of ___ surprise fads, and was never meant to gain popularity itself. The purpose of the fad was to show how little the content itself matters. It just needs to have an element of unexpectedness and be propagated to be popular. Also, only the first Brian Peppers site was kind of funny, and yes the guy is creepy looking but the shock value only lasts so long.

Also, I do want to point out that I am not blaming you for the popularity or anything. The fact that they popped into your head is the fault of the people who spread it in the first place. The reason I don't give it a lower score is because you tried to find fads that fit in the situations given, and unfortunately, the obvious answer ended up not being the best imo.
