What he's saying is that the joke could be repeated with any number of things in the first frame and it would still be the same joke. I'm going to go easy on this one since this is the first YTMND I've encountered that uses this scene.

Why did the simpsons decline so badly? first it got unfunny then it turned into liberal/atheist propaganda then it just turned stupid and non sensical, i think in the 20th seasons they are trying to get better but I think its damaged beyond repair
