There's barely anything properly Irish about this tired old stereotype. Guinness isn't Irish (fair enough it was once), the potato comes from South America, that daft hat is a joke, lucky charms aren't available in Irish supermarkets, your Ivory Coast flag is upside down, sensible people don't smoke since the introduction of the national smoking ban... I mean I could go on. Mercifully, you forgot hurling and leprechauns.
