WRONG so many plot holes. #1: They turned into Claws, yet they were dinosaurs. #2: Andrew and Matt's good friend, Colin died, and all they could think of was Track & Field? #3. When he [Colin] was revived from the dead, he didn't know who Matt and Andrew were until they said "We are matt and andrew" #4: No explination to why they weren't changed back into people the first time, yet the second time, they were easily transformed into people again. How facile. Clearly the retransfiguration could not take place until the protagonists had accepted the roles they found themselves occupying. Notice that they feast upon the flesh of their fellow creatures, witness the cycle of death and rebirth typified by Colin's journey before they may transgress the boundary back into humanity. The piece is deeply symbolic of cyclic heroes journey's told throughout the age that start and end at the same state with a series of trials in between. Better than LOTR and The
RIGHT on so many plot patches. #1: They turned into Terrible Claws, which means they turned into Deinonychus. #2: Colin died and they wanted to get the hell out of there. #3. Zombies frequently experience memory loss just after being revived. #4: It's a MAGICAL rainbow rock. A+ Here's a publishing grant young man
The Conflict was a little sketchy at certain points in the story. There were to many times when I did not see the Motivation behind the 3 protagonists. For example: When they were turned into "Claws" no reason is given for the three of them continuing to move forward even though they were now presented with the opportunity to head back into town and eat people.
A little boy wrote a good story for a second grader. Then someone else read it out loud, choosing to emphasize words and sentences to make it sound even more poorly written than it actually was. Where's the funny? God, I hope this doesn't become another How to Prank a Telemarketer. At least HTPAT was funny the first time I heard it.
