It didn't sync the first time. I was thinking about refreshing for a while. I finally decided that since I had already seen the whole thing it would probably just be best to guess what everyone was saying. Then when I went to shoot myself in the face I noticed I don't have a gun, so I just refreshed and watched it again. It was good.
LoL if only! The tagline is: "Somebody warn the West. N!gger Charley ain't running no more." Basically it's about an escaped slave turned Western outlaw, trying to right all of the wrongs committed by slave owners. I'd hate to say it this way, but it's just another Blaxploitation film. Fred's a great actor; I'd love to see him do more than he's been relegated to.
I've actually seen this movie before. One of Austin's theater companies called the Alamo Drafthouse shows a free Wacky Wednesday movie every week and this happened to be it. Believe it or not, this movie was made for black people even though it seems racist to well....everyone. I don't know, it's a genre called "Blacksploitation" that tried getting black people to go to the movie theaters as segregation ended. It's more fun to watch with a group of people than SoaP, that's for sure!
