How many chances do you have to do stuff like this? Tons. When I was younger there were so many security issues on the web especially with ISS 4.0 as to where you could deface a website using a 14 line piece of perl and a shell account. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you have to or should.

Let me rephrase: how many chances to you get to do this on a site like youtube? A handful of us took down probably over 50,000 worth of subscriptions combined. Yeah, there was no point, and it was kinda a dick move, but we got together and actually made it work. Remember the Transformer's Barrel Roll quote-thing? Or the Fresh-Prince-Hilary-Campaign theme thing? Those things all failed, and people worked on them for DAYS. We just came in today with no knowledge of this whatsoever, posted a few sites

and rallied support, and less then 12 hours later we accomplished what we set out for. Even if what we set out for was a pointless, childish bash at some self-absorbent a-holes, we did it. We didn't "hurt" anybody, we didn't completely ruin their accounts or anything like that. If we had hacked in and delete their videos, that would be bad. If we found away re-vote on videos and set all their video averages to 1, that would be bad. But we just removed a meaningless "subscription" count number on

their front page. Do subscriptions mean anything to most youtubers? No. But they do to these guys because they love attention. F*ck them I say. Now good YouTubers are getting targeted because they have the most subscriptions. We're kinda moving away from Slight F*ggotry and slipping into Blatant *ssh*le-ism, but meh. If you got up tomorrow morning and you noticed that Smosh's 150,000 something subscriptions were gone, wouldn't you be just slightly impressed?

secret? Plus if there was any obvious threat to the site, I'm sure Max would have brought the hammer down by now. You guys are blowing this way out of proportion. We aren't bringing down the internets, committing crimes, destroying priceless content or whatnot. There are so much worse things that could have/have been done. Posting the ending to a highly anticipated multi-million dollar book and ruining it for thousands of people? THATS ok.

The only thing I'm impressed by is the immaturity level on YTMND. I mean I understand I'm 23 and for the most part you all are quite a bit younger than me...but out of all the sh*t I've seen on here in the past this pretty much takes the cake.
