SNL was pretty good from about 1990 to 1996. There was definitely a dip in the quality in 1994, which coincides with Mohr's introduction to the cast (at the end of 1993). Also, Al Franken - damn him to hell. But look at the rest of the cast around that time and tell me that they weren't funny: Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, Kevin Nealon, Norm McDonald, Tim Meadows, Mike Myers, David Spade (maybe even Mark McKinney, who wasn't as good as he was on Kids in the Hall).
