Nope. Arse. He's the maker of the great checklist, which determines whether or not a site is worthy. Is talent on there? Perhaps. Composition? Work involved? Yes, but these all count for naught if you violate his rigid criteria as to what is or isn't a proper YTMND. Political in any way? 1'd. The image and text come from the same medium? 1'd. It must be difficult being the gatekeeper, deciding based on assets and not message. I couldn't shut off that much of my cerebellum.
Nitzwalsh, I normally agree with you. Here, our opinions part. Nay, for the scourge of direct Youtube rips dulls the sparkle of original sites that deserve their time in the spotlight. Lo and behold, when rips are upvoted, the original sites fade away to dust, nary a chance to be seen and enjoyed by the masses.
You make an important point there. But the problem is that we get to the point of tunnel-vision and auto 1'd far too much, claiming it's unoriginal. For example, Remember the 'racist fad?' I took a screenshot from Wikipedia showing Diefenbaker's achievements in the field of eliminating discrimination. All I did to the image was highlight a couple lines. But it was knowledge that was important in the context of the fad. This site is bringing up an important point too: DON'T FU CKING TOUCH SWORDS!
