I appreciate the effort put into this, but the goal of We Didn't Start This Website was to finally put a stop to all fad comps. Thing is they're a pretty lame concept since all they do is rely on the success of several other ytmnd's.

What, so it was supposed to be the fad comp to end all fad comps?

I didn't think of it as a fad comp. Its a idea for a ytmnd roller coaster. Downvoters cave where purple people are put over a fire.

I'm sorry the future builds on the past. Everything has been done, nothing new under the sun.

1. Creativity and innovation always builds on the past. 2. The past always tries to control the creativity that builds on it. 3. Free societies enable the future by limiting the past.

3 year-old fads are not ingrained into the essence of ytmnd, they are merely arbitrary examples of the first successful fads. They have only the illusion of importance. Inclusion of these 2004 memes in new works only stagnates the growth of YTMND.

straight.ytmnd.com So using clips from 80s movies is ok. That pushs us forward.

I haven't seen this ytmnd done before. Am I the first one to make this. Has anybody done it like this before?

Nobody has made lots of things that are completely uncreative and lame. And, hopefully, they never will. Unfortunately, you made one such example, and it'd be best if you never did so again.
