This isn't an insult to tool. I love tool so much I can't put it into words. Maybe you should have LISTENED to their music instead of expecting some headbanging mosh-fest when you bought a ticket....Tool isn't like that, their music is about spirituality, not partying. It's sad, really, people don't care about the music in concerts these days, only moshing and crowd surfing and such so that when they buy the ticket they can get a free toy with their happy meal......
Easy. Well, the whole song is pretty much about God and what He tells us all to do, but Maynard is asking "why?". The first verse is about God pointing His finger at all of us 2000 years ago and telling us "you can do this, but you can't do this", whereas the second verse/the chorus is Maynard asking why. Why do we do this, but not this? That's my interpretation. Five please.
Tarbosh, you're an idiot if you took what I said wrong, f*ck tool. I was listening to themin '92 so stfu, they are not about spirituality, there are not about headbanging either, there are just straight up gay, except the drummer... the show sucked cause the suck live...if they were going to sit in chairs like old *ss bitches with osteoperosis and sh*t they could have just made a better video. and f*ck you for being a bitch, i gave you a 5 and all you can do is bitch, get off my interwebs lil kid
