"We're gonna win this thing" wasn't resolution enough? That whole storyline was about the FBI agent getting "flipped", only in the other direction. It was never about terrorism, any more than Christopher's storline was about movies. As for expecting resolution, in my mind The Sopranos is never about things being resolved. The show's not about what happens, it's about what could happen. It's not a particularly violent show, but it's steeped in the _threat_ of violence. Which the finale captured perfectly.
