I get it he has no killer bcuz he doesn't die bcuz those dumb f*cks that write the show dont want to give us ny f*ckin closure. "Hey guys how should we end the best f*cking show on HBO." "I dunno lets finishing it with Tony, his wife and that little pussy eaing f*cking onion rings to Journey." "But remeber to have way too much tension before we do." "Great idea you f*cking genious."

Leave 'em wanting more, I always say. This 5 is more for the finale than for your ytmnd. I thought the finale was brilliant. The whole point was to put the audience on edge. Just like Tony will be on edge for the rest of his life waiting for the other shoe to drop. F*cking genius.

'leave em wanting more' only works when you give them something. after last weeks build it pretty much felt like nothing happened. i was especially peeved about the FBI/terrorism underlying storyline basically going nowhere. last weeks ep had more final resolution than this did.

they did a great job building the tension, with Meadow's parking trouble and the "man in the members only jacket"...personally, i think we just got a lesson in what-you-really-see-when-you-die

David Chase stole Halo 2's non-ending.

"We're gonna win this thing" wasn't resolution enough? That whole storyline was about the FBI agent getting "flipped", only in the other direction. It was never about terrorism, any more than Christopher's storline was about movies. As for expecting resolution, in my mind The Sopranos is never about things being resolved. The show's not about what happens, it's about what could happen. It's not a particularly violent show, but it's steeped in the _threat_ of violence. Which the finale captured perfectly.

at least he didn't wake up next to Suzanne Plechette or we find out the whole show was all in the mind of some retard kid. Nevertheless, the ending reeks of fail.

true but still no closure leaves room for basterds to walk in and start it up again and ruin the show. Thats why the russians burned every city to the ground.

Tony talked with Bobby last week about what being whacked would be like, they speculated that it'd be "black and silence". Which is what happened. His entire family died. The Sopranos are all dead.
