i would have never thought to put those two together

Today is probably the first day in about 2 months for me to have a significant amount of free time. Time enough to combine millions of songs, and I liked this one!

Enh... crazy different keys and such. And beats now, actually. Make vol.2 better.

Seconded. These songs are completely different and make no sense mash'd.

Some parts really seemed to clash.. anyways, not bad
(0)
It would have run a lot smoother if I could have had a version without the annoying loud banging drums of the original barbie girl song.
May 16th, 2007
(0)
that goes waay to well together.

This is a slice of pumpkin pie with mayonnaise atop; somehow, against all sanity and reason, it tastes delicious.

Add German version for massive damage...

I had like 30 versions of barbie girl before my harddrive died. now I have only the 1 I happened to have on my psp.
(1)
30 versions of barbie girl? thats just crazy
(0)
All of them were horrible. I pretty much only had them for the reason of having so many. And I had a lot of versions of 99 red balloons. I found a site once that attempted to list every version of that song, which I thought was funny. http://www.216colors.com/luft/

Animutations LOLOLOL

Never had an a capella version, but I did have kind of an instrumental, a kareoke version.

The "There's something strange in the neighborhood..." part clashes pretty hard, but the section after that matches so well, it completely makes up for it.
May 16th, 2007

wish i could make stuff like this
May 16th, 2007
(0)
damn man, those two songs don't work together at all. you have mixing talent, but you're diluting your output with bad mixes and with all those mixes that use the same background song. you could do some really good stuff if you spent more time on each one. no need to put out three remixes in one day. just my opinion of course.
(0)
meh... the mixing is good. but poor choice of mashup.

May 16th, 2007

that's just weird
May 16th, 2007
(0)
Aren't you supposed to take out the lyrics to one, so that it's just a background for the other song? Regardless, this is just atrocious to listen to.

May 16th, 2007

Great job. This may be too much fun for one song to contain.
May 16th, 2007

Some parts do clash a little, but that sort of makes it even more cool when they finally do line up. You would never mistake it for one cohesive song, but I kind of like that.
May 16th, 2007

Keaton I can't wait to hear the next mashup mix, I've been listening for this one for an hour.

Chewie began pumping his hips rhythmically, driving himself into Leia as far as he could go.

1 for mashing such a dumb song with ghostbusters, +4 for keaton
May 16th, 2007
(0)
holy sh*t
(0)
should have been done with less clashing vocals. in your 30+ collection of barbie girl did you have an instrumental or acappella versions. then you could have made it tighter.

Keaton this just isn't up to your usually awesome standards. Probably cause you didn't write the original song. Heh, I bet that guy regreted living...

You know, I wish I knew how you come up with these ideas of fusing the most girlish thing ever with one of everyone's favorite movies.

Reminded me of DG Wig - Ghostbusters are Back...but then again that's the only other mushup I can think of that uses the Ghostbusters Theme.
