"Can atheists explain how the Britney Spears became small and survived the toxicity of the ramen and escaped the large pop-star eating childasaurus? Then, God must exist. QED." -Kirk Cameron

"Behold... the atheist's nightmare. Ramen noodles. They're small, lightweight, in convenient individual packaging. Cheap to buy, easy to make, and it only takes minutes. Fills you right up, never goes bad. Evidence of God's creation if I've ever seen it." -Kirk Cameron

"The atheist idea that life is just a huge cosmic accident does not explain the existance of tiny rednecks dancing in noodles. For evolution to be a viable theory, there would have to exist in nature a transitional form between trailer trash and miniature trailer trash. Scientists have been searching for hundreds of years and still have not found the Crocko-ho." -Kirk Cameron

For religion to be proven to be more than just a method, a cultural phenomenon of thousands of years old, it would have to be right, which means that god would have to be a perfect, infinite being capable of creating the universe. But how can god be a perfect being if we can perceive him? How is it possible that imperfect finite beings such as ourselves could perceive of something infinite and perfect? Unless He does exist but is impossible for us to perceive Him.
May 14th, 2007
(6)
But if it is impossible to perceive Him then how can we know He exists or has the possibility of existing or that he doesn't exist and does not have the possibility of existing? It means our idea of god is not that of an infinite perfect being but a finite symbol of a infinite being, which is finite, so it cannot really be a true representation of God, if He exists. If it is not a true representation of god then how can we trust this idea of god that we have convinced ourselves to believe?
May 14th, 2007
(6)
If we can't trust this god that we believe then what can we trust about god, except that he is beyond our comprehension if he is real and an elaborate concept created by man if he is not? But if he is beyond our comprehension then why do we pray to a false God instead of admitting that He is beyond our conception and therefore would be foolish to attempt to worship Him to show faith in his existence without even knowing what He is. "No matter what: you're f*cked, lets put it that way" -Kirk Cameron

"My conception of a perfect being includes in its definition the ability to be perceived by finite, imperfect beings. Otherwise, it would be oh so lonely as the only being who would be cognizant of my existence would necessarily be myself. Also, a person is capable of perceiving a perfect sphere, whether or not it they can perceive it to be perfect. Furthermore, if this perfect being is infinite, then nothing that a finite being perceives could be anything other than that infinite being,

including their world, themselves, and the cosmos beyond." -Einstein, Spinoza, Stoicism, et al. (Not very consistent with the Christian conception. Even though they have adopted Einstein as their favorite Son. Maybe he was Jesus, and he failed to change even their closed minds because they refused to listen to what he was saying and continued to look only at their own ignorant conceptions and assumed that what they believe is what he actually meant to say. Silly.)

If God exists, the Bible is wrong. If God does not exist, the Bible is wrong. If God exists, we are doing wrong by submitting ourselves to any human-bound religion as none of them can have a true representation of god due to our own limitations as human beings, and are therefore false in their practices. Making an excuse or "logical arguement" on behalf of any religion is an act of desperation and denial, for the existence of god cannot be proven, nor can the nonexistence of god be proven, currently.

"How is it possible that imperfect finite beings such as ourselves could perceive of something infinite and perfect?" -wisdumcube. I cannot perceive the entirety of the Queen Mary, nor can I perceive of all of it at once, yet I can perceive that it exists. Unless you can prove that it is impossible to perceive an infinite being, which I think is an absurd claim, then Christianity can be correct and your disbelief in that fact no less dogmatic than Christian beliefs.
May 14th, 2007
(2)
I am not actually confident that I actually proved Christianity wrong, I was speaking philosophically. I personally believe that Christianity as told by the bible is false, but I know my logic isn't air tight. This is the way I see it (, the logic may be flawed but I am at least attempting this argument). We may have this concept of infinity but I don’t think we can really perceive it. We use things really really really really big to represent infinity because we cannot really see infinity,
May 14th, 2007
(2)
or at least, we currently do not have something that could portray it accurately and realistically. Let’s say you look at the ship from the outside. Well, you can perceive the outside but not the inside correct? So you aren’t perceiving it in its entirety. That which you are perceiving is an idea, an idea that is not all encompassing of that which is Queen Mary, just like our idea of infinity is not all encompassing of what it means to be infinite. However, once you experience the rest of the ship,
May 14th, 2007

inside and out, you have an all encompassing idea of what it is to be Queen Mary. So, you start with a limited perception and end up with a well-informed one that is explains what it truly means to be Queen Mary. Perception of an idea like Queen Mary requires experience to gain that perception. You can’t do that with infinity, because it would be impossible to experience (in its entirety) something that goes on forever, at least to my understanding.
May 14th, 2007
(2)
Until it can be proven that a human can perceive infinity and have a well-informed perception in its entirety, I will stand on this matter. Also, c*cks.
May 14th, 2007
(2)
Oops, forgot to add, just because we know that something exists, DOES NOT mean we can grasp its true perception. We understand infinity, just like we understand god, but can we really perceive and comprehend them them?
