Dire Straits give an autograph to Manic Street Preachers
The music from seanpennautograph.ytmnd.com (Manic Street Preachers' Ocean Spray) mixed with Dire Straits' Sultans of Swing. Ocean Spray on left speaker, Sultans on right. Best with headphones.

Actually, I had to slow it down *and* raise the pitch, but once you do that, they DO mix very well, don't they? :)

thats a pretty common chord progression, you should check out boomaga's 'whatcho know about chord progressions' sites. i wouldnt therefore call this much of a ripoff if thats the intent here. listening to this, i bet I could also lay a specific Green Day song i dont remember hte name of over top.

It's not really much of a progression, with one chord, but the way the chords are played is extremely similar. And no, it's not really much of a ripoff, but I still think it's an amusing idea. :)

Well, actually I guess the original song uses two chords, but Sultans uses just one, and they just happen not to sound bad when mixed...
