If you agree, drop a comment! YTMND should make up the money from these ads somewhere else.

I am sorry...but this site gets a 1....i have a crap dell 1.8GHz P4 and 256MB RAM...and it lags just a bit but not enough to bother me...try defragging ur hard drive and removing spyware and crap like that...it should speed up ur PC...Max spends a lot of money to support YTMND for our enjoyment and with the help of these ads, YTMND is possible...
The better solution would be to find better ad hosting. The ad placement is fine and until recently it was all fine but if Max subscribes to a certain ad service and they are getting too much traffic and not spending any money on upkeep on their own servers then we feel the effect because the page won't load until the ad is placed and if you are stuck in a damn que trying to retrieve the ad then you get what we have been experiencing lately. sh*tty load times.
This is a somewhat new issue. It was mainly due to the fact that IE crashes when you try to edit elements before a page load is finished. Quick loading is important for YTMNDs, but not as important as staying afloat. I've noticed that with certain ads pages never load, this is obviously not acceptable.
In summary, it's currently necessary to have the preloader function properly, and hopefully in the near future that won't be the case. The fact that ads are required to load before the preloader loads was a side effect of a long standing IE bug that was being fixed, but at the moment it's a necessary evil.
Monetizing the actual YTMNDs has always been a huge pain, since I implemented the code the money YTMND earns from these pages has almost doubled, but due to it being so little to begin with, this is only a temporary solution. One thing I'm working on are ads built directly into the preloader, so you are only shown ads when the site is loading anyway.
Here's my dilema, you see, I love YTMND. However, I'm too much of a cheap bastard to donate, this is the prime reason why I don't complain about ad's. It's also the reason I don't use nice ad blocking software, because these ad's make YTMND money. The problem with doing this, however, is that fact that every time one loads a YTMND, the ad's load. And since the ad servers suck hairy monkey balls, it slows my viewing of awesome YTMND content.
