From wikipedia on Butterfly: "The song was written by Shifty Shellshock as an ode to his long time ex-girlfriend, Cynthia Mittweg. It heavily samples the Red Hot Chili Peppers' song "Pretty Little Ditty". " In other words, it's just sampling as with most rap songs.

The difference with sampling is they acknowledge where it came from and pay for the rights to use it. It may be uncreative as hell (and that Crazy Town song is one of the worst songs ever recorded), but they didn't steal it.
