Wikipedia: On March 10, 2007, Jeni was found by his girlfriend with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in West Hollywood, California. Police found him gravely ill when they arrived, and he was quickly transported to a local hospital. However, he did not survive. Although Jeni was alive when police arrived on the scene, he was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

His official site says 49. Wiki and yahoo say 45. Mastersitsu, you can go f*ck yourself, obviously your sense of humor is that of a degenerate. Why don't you get off your f*cking computer for once, go see what's out there in the real world. maybe you'll find a sense of humor and some compassion out in the 3-dimensional world.

listen, i can see both sides of the suicide thing. i can see sympathy for people going through pain trying to end it, but its also fair to just see a rich and famous 45 year old who is still rather successful getting an HBO special each year taking the pussy way out when he could clearly afford therapy and other means to better his life. i'm sorry, when it comes to someone in his position taking his own life, he took the pussy way out. I'm a huge Kurt Cobain/Nirvana fan, but its completely fair to say The same thing about him.

yes, its serious. its not a 'lol fake celebrity death' site. front page of yahoo. you dont have to look far. but seriously, I'm a degenerate for having a moral objection to his decision to kill himself? laughable, just as you should and would laugh if someone called you a sexist pro-wife abuse degenerate for posting that site of Chuck Norris hitting a woman.

You made a good point there Sitsu. But to insult someone for choosing suicide? I come from an upper-middle class family and can afford almost any kind of treatment or therapy for depression, I suffer from depression myself and I just want you to know, your social status can't change your brain chemistry, psychological and psychopharmocological intervention often yields limited results and only for short periods of time.

I just wish you knew what it was like to suffer from serious depression. And no-matter how humorous, grateful or gifted one can seem on the outside, it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with what's going on inside. Yes it's a cliche concept, some can't fathom it and most choose not to.

I would think that he didn't comment suicide but possible got into a heated argument that turned bad. Anyway, he was funny as hell

yes, i think sometimes its acceptable to make fun of someone who decides to kill himself, because its not just himself he affects, he puts hurt on numerous people around him. i can have a level of sympathy, but personally I see it as a sign of weakness too. i had a friend who committed suicide when he was 19. i was upset, i'd be upset at someone who made fun of him, but it is completely fair to be upset at him and what he did, at the pain he put his girlfriend, his friends, his family through. Who could help him but he did and said nothing. So in the end making fun of say, Richard Jeni, means nothing. He's gone, he f*cked off, it’s the people he leaves behind that people should be concerned for if anyone. I look at the yahoo article and see a pic of him and Chris Rock, and I feel bad for Chris Rock instead, because picturing Chris Rock being heartbroken just seems so much more wrong than feeling sorry for the person who couldn’t be strong enough to find another way.

possible, but even for the most intense or emotional arguments to end up in suicide, there is almost always deep psychological problems that surface during the period of rage or hopelessness.

you just don't get it Sitsu, obviously we're on two completely different frequencies. I can't blame you for your own opinions though, you're you. It just upset me that you insulted him. that's not to say I don't feel bad for the people his suicide has affected, I feel horrible for them. I feel equally as bad for him for what he could have done instead, he was really a good person. If you've never experienced it yourself, it's impossible to even get an idea of what goes on inside the mind of someone
