By the way, I dunno, maybe throw in a slightly emo-ish comment from Michael Collins, the third guy who didn't get to go to the Moon. Y'know, like, "You and Buzz had all the fun X(" or something. That might add a bit more historical complexity to it or something.

The Apollo 8 mission (Borman-Lovell-Anders) December, 1968, was the first mission where men saw earth from the moon. They orbited the moon and read from Genesis while looking back at Earth. GOOD DAY, SIR.

Yeah but there still viewing the Earth from space, they wern't on the moon they wern't on another 'world' by your logic I could say yuri gagarin was the first man ever to look at our world from another. Its not another world its space. The Moon is another World. Not Space.
