I don't want to touch this fad with a ten foot pole, but this site actually gave me an idea. I don't want to make it, so I'm gonna throw it out there, whoever gets to it first, feel free: Intercut Stanley Spadowski yelling "You get to drink from the fire hose!" with civil rights footage of Birmingham protesters being sprayed with fire hoses. Ready, go.
That Letterman "apology" might be an even bigger train wreck than the standup tirade itself. A percentage of the audience thought it was a sketch and were laughing... oh man, was that awkward. And then the understandment of the night from Richards: "I hear people laughing, I think maybe this is the wrong venue for this kind of thing." O RLY?
This was awesome. Yeah, the apology on Letterman was terrible, you could tell it was winged and he had no idea what the f*ck to say about any of it. I think it's sad he did it, such a great guy with a long career in comedy, I downloaded a bunch of his old stuff, including the Late Show skits he used to do, and it was all great.
Did anyone notice Seinfeld lost a bunch of weight? I wonder if he's going to start doing stuff again.
Dapperdan, Seinfeld has a movie coming out or something. About bees. Seriously.
Also, Kramer's apology was really lame because you can't really apologize for something like that. He just SNAPS and unloads with the most hateful word in American speech over AND over AND over again. If I were him, I'd accept that I just nuked my already lukewarm career and go play WoW for the rest of my life in solitude.
Guys, Michael Richards isn't a racist! He didn't know how to handle hacklers. It just popped out of him. Didn't you see his apology video on Letterman? He's very, very sorry! Butters from South Park said the n-word, and he is not voiced an by African-American. I don't see any "South Park is Racist" sites. Also, to be honest, the YTMNDers are more racist than Kramer is. Like with fads such as N*gg* Stole My Bike. Please leave him alone!
