Some of the games didnt bring up that screen, like the NFL game. Toast CHef, it wasn't a broken Sega. I 5 this site for teh bfond memories.

I believe the reason some later games didn't bring up this screen is because if it's large enough that the combined ROM of the two games is more than 4 MB, it won't fit in memory and so S&K just gets ignored and the other game is loaded normally.
