The original Trilogy (plus Sonic and Knuckles) are still the best of all the Sonic series. I remember when S&K had just come out on the Genesis... Good times.

You know, when you said move the eye I immediately thought "what? I don't see how...". but after you applied the filters, it looks just about right. Old Sonic = The superfast cool guy. New Sonic = lame attempt to be "EXXXTREEEEEEEME!!"

yeah, the original cast is the best. sonic, tails, knuckles, and ROBOTNIK. they shouldn't have changed it from Robotnik to Eggman in the middle of a game series. That's just stupid. But, yeah. I miss seeing the good old hegehog.

Pretty darn good, but the left eye wasn't just "off center," it was larger.. Should extend down to the bottom of the.. er.. white.. area. And yeah, classic Sonic is better. But screw the design... I just want that 16-bit style music back!!

@SlashX: Actually Amy is technically much more of a "new" sonic character than an old one. It is TRUE that she debuted on Sonic CD before Sonic 3 was released, but she was still designed by Yuji Uekawa, a who later became the lead character Designer of the Sonic Series when sonic adventure came out. Think of Amy Rose as a Foreshadowing of Darkness.
