it does suck living here
I felt like bitching about my home state, but as a native New Jerseyan/Jerseyite, it still kicks ass.

November 13th, 2006
(0)
THATS Y IM MOVING TO L.A CALI BITCHES!!!
November 13th, 2006
(0)
New Jersey is not famous for the parkway, there's even a gag drink called the jersey turnpike. The turnpike was in the sopranos theme, not the parkway, and many songs about new jersey talk about the turnpike. just because harold and kumar went on the parkway and route 33 does not mean its more famous
November 13th, 2006
(0)
nice!! i never knew i lived in a state that looked like a person punched in the stomach while taking a crap
November 13th, 2006
(0)
Well, you have the Sopranos.
November 13th, 2006
(0)
except for the whole Jersey joke is "what exit are you from" - referring to the parkway. The turnpike is famous for smelling like sh*t. Thats about all there is to it
November 13th, 2006
(0)
What exit? can be used for both the turnpike or the parkway because for some it wouldnt make sense, if you take the turnpike to get to atlantic city and not the parkway, you must go to exit 3 on the turnpike then after about 20 minutes of driving you take the atlantic city expressway, therefore, if you lived in ac, you would not say you lived off exit 3 because its such a long distance from the exit, take the parkway directly to the ace very close to ac so parkway would make more sense
November 13th, 2006
(0)
Exits from 17 to 1 are not exactly defining. The Parkway goes over 170 exits. Look up New Jersey Pride or Jersey jokes or whatever on google, you get more parkway sh*t then turnpike
November 13th, 2006
(0)
some of us live in Connecticut......including me :(
November 13th, 2006
(0)
you use the parkway when you wanna go to the shore or upstate ny, you use the turnpike to stay inland in new jersey, yes exits 17-1 arent well defined, but the turnpike serves west jersey while parkway serves the shoreline until they reach northern jersey where they intersect. whatever, two highways define new jersey along with the ace if you wanna count it
November 13th, 2006
(0)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Jersey_Turnpike it lists both - fair enough and 5'd
November 13th, 2006
(0)
either way, if i ever go out of the northeast and i tell people im from jersey adn they ask "what exit?" i walk away
November 13th, 2006

Hmmmm, Sitting in a climate contolled car while some poor shmuck HAS to pump my gas in the rain, snow, hot sun, whatever. Do people REALLY see that as a negative? Plus they clean your windows sometimes, check oil, bring you a cold soda, whatever you ask them... it's like having a slave for a few minutes. I would think it was a plus. Am I missing something?
November 14th, 2006

November 14th, 2006

I've been saying this for years. They need to split up Jersey and give south Jersey to Pa and north to NY. At least then Philly might have a decent hockey team. Btw... Pennslyvania, America STARTS here.

f*ck you jersey is awesome, especially because we don't pump our own gas, how is that a bad thing? though my chemical romance does suck. and how does it look like a person getting punched in the stomach and taking a crap? i can kinda see the extended butt, but the indent is too high for a stomach
November 14th, 2006
(0)
and f*ck everybody, rutgers has always been awesome, sure the football team was ass, but there is more to the school than football. i almost hate the fact that they are doing good. you can't pick out the people with actual school pride anymore because everybody is jumping on the bandwagon.
November 14th, 2006
(0)
Jersey rocks. I'm sure all the people who hate on New Jersey a) have never stayed in New Jersey for more than 2 hours, and/or b) is a born-again Christian who would rather live in a state controlled by anti-first amendment racists. Also, it seems a lot of you hicks hate New York City (and believe me, New Jersey is more a part of the city than upstate New York or Long Island) and would rather live in your white-bred farmland instead of experiencing a cultural center filled with educated people like New York
November 14th, 2006
(0)
ouch.... i live there....
November 14th, 2006

I hate MCR so much. They think they made the first concept album ever, and just keep churning out crap because they can. They made a compilation album after only 2 actual albums. If that isn't selling out I don't know what is.

well at least you realize how sh*tty your states is. put some stuff about gun control laws too while you're at it. My experiences and experiences of my friends have been that every person we've met from New Jersey usually ends up being an *ssh*le...
