The only thing scary about this place is all of the crackheads who sleep there at night. Teenagers think they are ghosts making sounds. I'll never forget what my best friends father (who happens to be a cop who patrolled the Byberry area) told my friend and I when we were talking about it one day:

The college I attended was at one time the location of a well known mental hospital (google California State University Channel Islands for more info) As strange as that sounds, the renovated buildings currently used for university classes are suitable for such, since they are grandiose and reflective of lush Spanish architecture. However, the campus is still rife with areas that resemble the creepy pics in this YTMND, which will either be demolished or historically preserved.
