^ "you could probably splice the sound a little more." ... in all of the lines I used, the camera cuts from his c*ckpit to someone else's in the middle of his line. I had to eq the part that was in his c*ckpit to sound like the part that is coming through a transmitters in the other ships. And there's vocal and ship noises at the same time. I'm not a professional sound engineer, but I really don't think the "splices" could be any smoother than I managed to get them.
