I hate people who try to draw parallels between Vietnam and Iraq. War sucks, sure, always has, always will. However, there are significant differences between the two. Anyway, 2'd for politics. Get rid of the politically charged description for a 3 (it's still not funny, so that's about as high as I can go).

I'm not going to downvote you even though I strongly disagree with you. I believe that war is sometimes needed to protect our country(s). One prime example of it being needed is WWII, I don't believe Hitler would have stopped if we asked him nicely.

MEO is stupid. Defending your country wouldn't be bad. (Though no poor middle-east country with 25 years old weapons would dare to attack the US) ...but Invading other countries for no reason, killing civilians and torturing prisoners is far worse.
