I Need .gif Animation Help
I have ImageReady, but I haven't gotten anything from their Help section and was hoping you people out there in cyber-land could give me a hand.

I wondered that to. I suppose you would have to use some a DVD or something and pause and screen cap each necessary frame. I apologize as I cannot think of a better way to do it. Perhaps Poland can share a bit more of his knowledge with us?

imo the best way is to play the vid in whatever program you want, pause & step through frames, and screenshot the frames you want. if you find a program that will convert a mpg or other movie to gif, it'll take every frame- you won't need every frame. and even if you can set it to use only a certian frame rate, you will most likely get frames you didn't want/need. using pause/screenshot, you can get only the frames you want. good luck bro!

oh, i forgot... then put the screenshots in a folder and use File > Import Folder as Frames

Macromedia flash can save as a .gif, and Quicktime pro can export the frames of a video to incremental image files, which can then be fed into imageready. Also, love the loop, reminds me of the one I made - http://ytmndcentury.ytmnd.com
